AutoPilot has designed the Manifold with RC-35/22 (SC-36) Cell and Base to have the ability to use a bypass manifold that arrives as a pre- assembled unit made to regulate the flow rate delivered to the cell.
The spring check valve is located in the manifold and lets the excess flow by-pass the cell. The pool watercan then move at a controlled rate through the cell where can be super chlorinated. The in-line strainer on the inlet side of the manifold protects the tri-sensor and the cell from debris that may bypass the filter.
With the stainer close to a connection union the device is able to be cleaned and serviced with out needing to take everything apart and making that part of ownership less of an ordeal which is always a good thing.
